RX-78-2 Gundam

This is my RG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0, which is one of if not my favorite kit I've built. It was a very fun kit to build and there are incredible alternate instructions available to build the inner-frame first and attatch the outer peices after making it feel very technincal.

The posability of this kit is astounding compared to the other kits I've worked on even compared to my RG Gundam Wing. Both the elbows and knees are double-jointed, the arms rotate and shoulders swing forward and up, the head can pivot and move, the whole waist can tilt and the hips can swing down and more.

This model was finished before I had tools such as files and markers so I need to go back and work on this at some point. The right part of the V-fin is broken, so I may eventually get the kit again if I can't find a spare. I think having one with just the underframe showing would be cool anyways if I get another kit.

Z'Gok

This is the HG MSM-07 Z'Gok, originally released in 1999.

The kit was fun to put together, but once built it has a few flaws. The legs' range of motion is not great, but it is nice for what the kit is and tries to be, however, what is somewhat annoying is that the arm and leg sockets feel loose and can come out. The model can also lose the pose you put it in due to the joints and tube peices not always being tight.

But I don't want to be too harsh as there's a large range of poses since the tube peices are all articuated and the unique poses it achives from that. Overall the model has an excellent color scheme, and is a great HG kit.

It is worth to note that this model does not come with any weapons since it cannot hold them, instead you get the claws on the arms that can be moved inward and outwards.
